Pinkie and Panda Bear were rescued in June of this year. Along with 12 other ferrets from one home.
Pinkie is 7.5 years old and he was taken to the vet right away. He had 7 teeth removed and many masses. It was also discovered that he is blind and adrenal. Due to his neglect needs round the clock special care and hand feedings. His foster Mama and Dad are wonderful with him and take great care in his special needs.
His cage mate Panda Bear is a big boy weighing in at almost 4 lbs and a handful. He constantly wants attention and will beg for it. In July he went in for adrenal surgery and it was found that his adrenals were fine but, he had to have his enlarged spleen removed and a bad kidney as well as 4 teeth. He also need special attention and feedings and due to his bad kidneys he will remain in his forever foster home were he is loved and gets the required extra care he needs.
Both Pinkie and Panda Bear are very sweet and loving and would appreciate anything Santa brings them.
Their wish list includes..
Turkey baby food for those special feedings
8 in 1 soft and moist kibble (not canned)
Totally ferret turkey venison, active, or complete to make soup with.
Pop up kitty tent
Soft fleece to keep warm with
Ferretone
Also and this might be a lot to ask but we would really like a Ferret Nation cage. Due to Pinkie being blind it makes it hard for him to get around his current super pet cage. Maybe even a ferret.com gift certificate to help the shelter buy them one.
