Amy

Amy Ohhhhhhh love your pant legs...wanna play? I go up your pant leg and you laugh and pick me up and hug on me...well...that works...lol I'm Amy and am 6.5 yrs old and have a heart condition. I came to the shelter with my cagemate Susan because CPS told the lady she couldn't keep us...that was December 2009. My cagemate has since passed away and I didn't want another roomie. I am sweet, and the neatest ferret in the shelter. My heart medicine costs money and I feel better when I take my meds...please donate to the shelter so we gets our meds and do real good.
Thank you so much!

By the way, soooooo many nice humans have donated and made sure we have lots of hammies, sleepsacks, toys and blankets and we really don’t need anymore right now. (And boy do we feel comfortable and spoiled). But here’s a list of things that would help the humans keep us clean and fed right now:

Food: We always need food and momma ferret does a “mixture” of food that we REALLY like it. So here is what she mixes: Totally Ferret Active, Totally Ferret Baby, Totally Ferret Turkey, Lamb & Venison; Zupreem, Marshalls, and Evo (sometimes).

Lupron shots: There are 18 of us that are adrenal and need shots each month.(momma ferret says that $200 a month is needed for the shots)

Veterinary bill: With so many surgeries, euthanasias, and well checks, our vet bill is now $3800 (was $4800) and being charged interest doesn’t lessen the total real fast. Soooo if you would like to help you can put $ on that bill and it would help us so we can continue to have vet care. By the way, momma ferret forgot to include the vet’s phone # which is 253-631-8616.

Gift Cards: Walmart, K-Mart, Sam’s Club, Lowe’s, Del’s Farm Supply or Money cards are always a big help.

Treats: We get to have N-bones, chew weasels, and foamy fries … oh and sometimes “tone”. Now, I would really appreciate any of these treats, I’m not that picky.

Thank you human "Santa's" -- your love is special to each and everyone of us!!!!
