Lucy Sweet Lucy came to us about 2 years ago as part of a group of three. At 7 years of age Lucy is the last of her group as her beloved sister Alice passed this summer due to heart disease. Lucy and Alice were very bonded and I was very scared Lucy would follow her in her grief. But with the help of her loving cage mates Lucy pulled through her grief. Lucy has lymphoma. She has swelling in her neck, shoulders and rear legs. At this point it does not seem to have infected her organs. She is currently taking Medrol and has a an overall good quality of life. She really enjoys her bowls of a/d soup and snuggling with her brothers and sisters. She always has the sweetest look on her face. I love this little girl and she sure has enriched my life.
Donations to Lucy's medical care are always appreciated, but if you prefer to send gifts here are a few of the things Lucy would enjoy. Of course she loves her soup made with a/d science diet canned and she eats Marshalls Food, Zupreme Grain Free and Totally Ferret Turkey Lamb and Venison. She enjoys round beds and warm snuggly blankets and soft cloth toys.
Thank you for considering our beautiful Lucy this Christmas!
