Ruby
Ruby is an adorable older ferret, who has recently been diagnosed as adrenal. She’s rather laid back, preferring her own company to that of other ferrets. She has recently shown some interest in several of our newer kids and seems to finally be coming out of her shell. She will initiate an interaction, then ‘bark’ as if she’s being attacked. This ‘come hither, go away’ behavior has several of our other ferret buddies mystified, until they realize that there’s not a mean bone in this little ferret’s body.
Ruby will play for short periods of time before seeking out the softest, most cuddly place in the room to hide away and sleep. She loves cuddly bedding and rattle toys. And, 8-in-1 Ferret Bites.
All foster homes in FURS can always use paper towels, disinfectant wipes, and other supplies that help keep all the cages and their play room clean and healthy.

Here at FURS we do not turn "special needs" ferrets away. We attend to all of their medical and emotional needs. All of the ferrets are placed in loving foster homes until they find forever homes, because of age or illness not all of the ferrets may be adopted. Even so, they always have a home and are loved just the same because they all have special place in our hearts.
