Gus Gus came to us a fairly large yellowing DEW with long nails. He also had this odd head tilt. The family who got rid of him had a small child who was kind of rough with him and we could not get a straight answer as to how he came to be "crooked". He does not have anything wrong with the bones in his neck. Best guess is that he had his head/neck caught in a door or he was shaking badly. He does okay though. Other than not being able to look where he wants all the time, he gets along fine and is a great embassator for the rescue.

Gus writes this to his Santa:

Hi - I am Gus. You know like Gus-Gus from Cinderella? We are both white and a well fed.
Boy I like it here. No kids to slam me in the doors or shake me. I was kinda tired of that although I love little kids. This year I got to help the rescue at several events. It was so cool meeting all those people. I promise to continue to do my part for the rescue.
Momma said to tell you what I would like in my stocking, besides more sunshine!
Well I really like those cat condos and cat beds. Momma said she can get them at WalMart, Big Lots and even TJMaxx. Nothing fancy, just fleecy.
I love the new food from FROMM, Game Bird Recipe. Plus mom gives me Uncle Jims Duk Soup - gotta love that soup!
I prefer bacon and peanut butter treats along with the awesome Nbones and Ferretone.
Now if I could keep the Kong toys away from the dogs, all would be great!
Take care Santa - we all send our love (and sunshine)!
