Francine came to us in August 2008. She is a wonderful, high spirited 3 year old who is working to overcome a youth spent in a home that neglected and mistreated her. She learned to defend herself by biting and acting out. Fortunately, she now receives love and care every day from her current foster family. Despite the odds, she is learning to trust again, and to enjoy a cuddle or to give a kiss. Francine is the fastest running ferret ever, racing across the room to slide across the floor and under furniture or into a tunnel. She is also quite smart, so she gets into trouble easily and frequently.
