Hi, I’m Patches and I’m an old man! I’ve been at the shelter for a couple of years now. My best buddy Rummy left me for the Rainbow Bridge about two years ago. I don’t really like other ferrets, but I get special attention and get to run around the whole shelter – OUTSIDE the playpens – and check out everything the volunteers are doing and snoop in everybody’s open and just cleaned cages too. I get to leave presents in the riff-raff’s clean litter boxes, (insert evil laugh here – bwwwa ha ha ha ha….) just to show them who is the more favored ferret around here. But really, they all know that unless I have really interesting stuff to do and see, I just get bored. Everybody loves me because I am smart and sweet.
I’m on Melatonin implants and Lupron, so a donation to our vet to keep me hairy, happy and healthy would be wonderful. Or a donation to our shelter account at Totally Ferret will keep me and all my friends fed! Thank you for helping me stay healthy! |
