Abu originally came to us with another ferret extremely malnourished. New ferret owners would feed him one chicken wing and leave it in the cage for days until he ate some. They had no experience in transitioning a ferret from kibble to raw. A concerned friend convinced them to surrender him. He is doing well now & enjoys soft blankets, cuddle beds and playing with toys that rattle. The shelter has a very large balance from veterinary care, medications, and implants (donations greatly appreciated). We could also use Gift Cards to: Amazon, Tractor Supply, puppy pads bandit treats, crinkle tubes and cotton receiving blankets.
