Phoebe

Phoebe Little Phoebe just arrived at the shelter this month. Her age is unknown as she has been in several homes, but I believe she is 3-4 yrs of age. Her previous owner showed up here with no warning just "had' to get rid of her, I cringe to think what would have happened had I not been home at the time he arrived. Very little was told to me about her, he apparently did not know much she was a free roam girl eating cheap Wal-Mart cat food. She is very scared of the other ferrets but very sweet with me. She likes people much more then other ferrets so far. Very gentle and shy she is a treasure! She is temporarily being housed in a play pen as she has not been caged, but I hope to find her a ferret friend or 2 and help her grow from being so timid to a happy, healthy bouncing little girl.

Thank you so much for looking at the ferrets here and on the Giving Tree in general. Your love, care and assistance helps get us, both ferrets and shelter operators, through the dark sad days and helps us to remember that there are people who truly do care.
We try very hard to provide a forever home to aged, ill, neglected and unwanted ferrets, while adopting out younger ferrets to new, and hopefully forever homes. We also attempt to provide support and education to the local ferret community as much as possible.

Things that the shelter can use the most:
CLEANING SUPPLIES, LAUNDRY SOAP, PAPER TOWELS, DISINFECTANT, ETC.....THESE ARE DESPERATELY NEEDED EACH AND EVERY DAY

Zupreem ferret food
Marshalls food
Ensure vanilla
Prednisolone
Potty pads
Carnivore Care
32 OZ WATER BOTTLES....I am extremely low on these and we swap and wash so I try to have enough available so they sit and dry between cleanings.
