Betsy came into the shelter in July 2008. She was surrendered with a buddy, Beauty, and their former owner thought she was a boy, so they named her Beast because she wouldn't stop biting. When we found out she was a girl, we renamed her Betsy. She and Beauty were adopted out, but the young couple couldn't handle Betsy's biting. They brought her back, but kept Beauty. Betsy is a little more than 7 years old and is slowing down. She doesn't bite anymore, but people don't usually want a 7 year old ferret. Despite her biting, Betsy's shelter mom and dad love her. She likes to play with crochet eggs and stash small stuffies in her private toy hideyhole. She would really love some new crochet eggs and any other toys she can stash.
