Dawnie (ferret with one eye) Dawnie came to us a result of an abuse case of which she has lost an eye.
She is the shelter’s little ambassador welcoming new arrivals and cuddling with scared ferrets.
She shows the new ferrets around, shows them how to eat soup and introduces them to the other ferrets at the shelter.
She doesn’t let having only one eye slow her down, she gets into just as much trouble as her cohorts. She loves to play in the tubes and gather up the toys. Dawnie adores rolling around in crinkle sacks as well as snuggling up in big hammocks and cubes. Anything for her will be especially appreciated
