Gracie Gracie is a very sweet girl to be around 8 years old now who came in almost two years ago in a 5 gallon bucket dropped off at the shelter left outside at the door. During that time it was cold and had been snowing off and on. A note was left on top of the lid stating they had to get rid of the ferret immediately and couldn't keep her anymore. The note didn't give any information of who owned her. Gracie has insulinoma, adrenal disease and also had a large icky tumor that I had removed on her neck when she first came in. For her age she has done rather well. Gracie is a snuggly ferret who just loves to be held and given attention. She is very set in her ways at her age and is a single only ferret at the shelter, as she doesn't like other ferrets. Gracie will stay here as she has in our hospice care spoiled to never see a five gallon bucket again. Gracie loves all kinds of treats and anything warm and cozy to sleep in.
