Mizuki

Mizuki My owners divorced and brought me to the shelter together with my buddy Tohru almost four years ago. Tohru left me for the Rainbow Bridge one year later. I decided that day that I wasn't going to let anyone else abandon me, and I prefer my own company. Shelter Mommy thinks this is because I have cataracts and can't see very much anymore, but I just don't need the aggravation of dealing with another personality!

My once nice fur coat is getting very thin; they say I need something called an implant to control something called adrenal disease. I guess I can't expect much else at seven years old! I prefer Sheppard and Greene Ferret food, tubes to hide in, and those hammocks with warm pockets so I can crawl inside to sleep.

My first wish would be a donation to our veterinary account so I can get the implant when it becomes available that will regrow my nice warm coat making me look like my picture again. In any event if you decide to be my Santa, I will love whatever you send to me. Shelter Mommy can also always use a gift card to Walmart, Ace Hardware, Lowe's or any of the ferret supply stores to use toward things we need and the cleaning supplies that never seem to go far enough.

Thank you for reading my story, and I wish you a Merry Christmas!
