Bond, James Bond! Yes I am!
I was once the spokesferret for Raisins From Heaven Ferret Rescue here in the mid-south. In my prime, I was a great big boy - 3 pounds of champagne mitt with a cute pink nose! Sparkling white toofies...sharp too! I'm lighter now, not quite the big boy I once was, but still feisty! I am a Mississippi ferret now but years ago when I was a younger boy, I came from that horrible ferret mill in Ohio - they call me a DMK, whatever that means...I remained here at the shelter to keep thinhs running smoothly and to attend the "meet-n-greet" festivals with our Mom during the year where I was the ferret ambassador for the rescues in this area. I retired this summer cuz I am just tired and I don't feel much like being handled by hoomans anymore. Never really liked it anyway...but went with Mom cuz it made her happy. Even though my time here on earth is winding up and I will probably pass to the Bridge sometime before the next Tree is set up, I wanted to pass this message from all of the ferrets at the shelter - "Have the merriest of Christmases Ever! Love and cherish every moment you have with your loved ones - fuzzie and hooman...as some day, in a blink of any eye, they may be taken from this world." Bond Boy would love any gift you would send for him and his two DMK cagemates, Coffee and Crystal. But all three will tell you, the best thing ever created for ferrets is the NBone sticks! They actually will steal from one another and wrestle each other for them. And, Totally Ferret Complete is, by far, the ferret food of choice of all of the shelter ferrets. **Photo will be forthcoming, hopefully** |
